What is a directed private retreat?

A retreat is time away from the distractions and demands of daily life to enter more deeply into your relationship with God. ‍ ‍

A private retreat simply means that you are not on retreat with a group with a common retreat theme, presentations, discussions, etc.  This is your retreat.

A directed private retreat is a private retreat during which you receive structured spiritual direction from an experienced spiritual director, usually daily.
