Hello!

Thank you for visiting! My icons are painted by hand in egg tempera in my studio in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. Here is what goes into an egg tempera icon:

• clay bole

• 24k gold leaf

• egg yolk

• dry white wine

• dry pigments

Icons are painted on a traditional icon board (wood board with natural gesso) or on a mixed media panel. All icons are finished with archival varnish.
